BINGHAMTON, NY (WIVT/WBGH) – A Binghamton woman with 30 years of legal experience as a prosecutor, attorney and chief clerk is running for City Court Judge.

Democrat Judy Osburn announced her candidacy last week during an event at the Lost Dog Cafe. Osburn graduated from Cornell Law in 1994.

After serving as a prosecutor in Western Massachusetts, she moved to Binghamton in 1996 to work for a law firm in Johnson City. Ten years later, she started her own private practice.

During 20 years as an attorney, Osburn handled a wide variety of legal matters including criminal defense, civil litigation, matrimonial law and landlord/tenant disputes in courts across Broome and neighboring counties.
